The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) and Seafood Exporters Association of India (SEAI) is jointly organizing 22nd edition of "India International Seafood Show", at Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Center, Grand Hyatt, Kochi, Kerala, India from 7th to 9th February 2020. The theme of the show is "Blue Revolution- beyond production to value addition".
India International Seafood Show (IISS) is organised biannually by Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) in partnership with Seafood Exporters Association of India (SEAI). It involves an exposition of innovative technologies and latest developments in seafood industry along with technical sessions focusing on topics relevant for the development of these sectors which will attract seafood importers, seafood processors and exporters, manufacturers of processing/packaging machinery/equipments for seafood, suppliers of ingredients, additives and other inputs, scientists and experts, other stakeholders around the world. The show provides a platform for the businesses to showcase the value added and sustainable seafood from India, and the participants will get an opportunity to get acquainted to the advanced techniques and technologies. India International Seafood Show - 2020 will have an exhibition area of 7,000 Sq.m. that can accommodate more than 350 stalls, with an expected participation of more than 10,000 delegates.
As of now, 80% of stalls in the exhibition hanger were booked. There are around 22 international exhibitors from 11 countries has already registered in the show. Besides this, there are 124 domestic exhibitors. The exhibitors comprises of seafood importers, processors, exporters, manufacturers and suppliers of machineries / equipments and other allied sectors belonging to seafood fraternity.
This mega event opens up numerous business opportunities, which may be explored by participation as an exhibitor / delegate.
