I am glad to present you this interactive business portal christened as ‘Fish Exchange Portal’, which is launched by the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, to enhance the export trade between registered seafood exporters of India and buyers abroad.

The portal is an attempt by MPEDA to provide a platform for buyers across the globe to interact and source the ‘Irresistible Seafood from !ncredible India’ from the registered exporters under this Authority.

The portal also features latest and updated information on world’s and India’s seafood trade statistics, production information and price trends, for the users to refer and understand the market scenario. It is loaded with directory of Indian seafood exporters, country profiles, regulatory, and tariff information, standards, notifications, information on upcoming business events / fairs etc. so that it will act like a ‘one stop shop’ for the trade needs. We have taken utmost care to furnish accurate information relying on the data sourced from FAO, DGCIS, UN COMTRADE and few others.

I am hopeful that our exporters and esteemed buyers will make use of this portal and provide a fillip to our gentle contribution to the flagship ‘Digital India’ programme.
